The best part of my Juneau trip and show was seeing some of my first and best friends from my 10 years spent in Juneau, long ago. And, making sure they have my art work in their homes! Annie and Bud are two of my favorites. The weather? Stunning!

Just finished Sue’s painting!! This is what she said after we hung it in her house, “Love how the painting is helping me with my cabin fever—it makes me happy!”
Goose eggs! They are so fun to paint! It has been many years since I had any of these giant eggs and thanks to some kind folks in Fairbanks, I now have a few to paint as gifts.

The December show at The Kobuk in Anchorage, Alaska, was wonderful. Thanks to all who showed up—and to those who now have their very own Bloom originals.
How cool is this?! The Kobuk, known for their specialty teas, has created a tea inspired by one of my paintings! Nina even threw in flecks of blue! The new label will be introduced at my First Friday at The Kobuk on December 2nd. Come check out my art—and sip some tea with us!

“Roux” made it to New Orleans! Ruthlee and Bill (art fans in Los Angeles) gifted their friends in Louisiana with a portrait of their favorite Leonberger, Roux. What a face!
Finally! I made it over to see the giant stand of trees I painted for Evelyn and Karl’s new house. It is just the best feeling to know my work is enjoyed by friends new and old.
Ruthlee and Bill strike again! This time, gifting a portrait of beloved “Leroy” to the family he left behind. A very well loved dog—and kids/grandchildren.
