Best message an artist could ever receive—EVER! This from Christi, about her commissioned polar bear.  “He looks like he has secretly been rolling in aurora dust and now is giving me the serious “What?” look.  Like there is no evidence of the color, he tells me all is good— I’m here to look after you — I’m your white knight.”

I love it when clients tear up when they see their animal portraits.  I was happy to deliver “Piper”—a champion Bernese Mountain Dog (now passed) who has quite the legacy of pups…and adoring owners.  This was a gift from them to Piper’s owner/breeder.  Thanks to Jennifer for putting this together!

The Moss Landing, California, opening was wonderful! Thanks to all my family and friends who showed up to see me and my art work. Thanks also to Kim and Luis Solano for inviting me to show in their gallery.  Even my Dad made the scene! At 95+, I was so happy he was able to join us.

The show will be up until mid-December. If you are in Northern California, jump in the car and cruise the coast to Moss Landing.  Along with seeing my art, make sure to eat some fabulous food at the Haute Enchilada Cafe, just across the courtyard from the Gallery!
