Best message an artist could ever receive—EVER! This from Christi, about her commissioned polar bear. “He looks like he has secretly been rolling in aurora dust and now is giving me the serious “What?” look. Like there is no evidence of the color, he tells me all is good— I’m here to look after you — I’m your white knight.”
They got their seahorses! Thanks very much to parents, Ruthlee and Bill, for asking me to paint these watercolors gifts for the kids. Great idea!
I love it when clients tear up when they see their animal portraits. I was happy to deliver “Piper”—a champion Bernese Mountain Dog (now passed) who has quite the legacy of pups…and adoring owners. This was a gift from them to Piper’s owner/breeder. Thanks to Jennifer for putting this together!
